The dates and kick-off times have been confirmed for our home Papa John’s Trophy Group C games against Shrewsbury Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers U21s.
After opening our Group campaign away at Port Vale on Tuesday 30th August, we will then host Wolves’ U21s on Tuesday 20th September, in a 7.30pm KO at Edgeley Park.
We end Group C at home once again, as we take on League One Shrewsbury on Tuesday 18th October, in another 7.30pm KO.
The top two from Group C will progress to the knockout stage of the competition. In the event of a draw in any game, a penalty shootout will be contested, with an additional point being awarded to the winner.
