Stockport County will face Championship outfit Derby County in a pre-season friendly during our trip to Pinatar in July.
Our game against the Rams will take place at Pinatar Arena on Friday 19th July, with kick-off at 11am local time (10am BST).
Both sides will be preparing for life in a higher division in 2024/25 after Paul Warne’s side finished second in League One last season, securing promotion back to the Championship on the final day after a two-year absence.
County are returning to Pinatar for the second successive Summer as part of their pre-season preparations – last season, we drew 1-1 with League One outfit Lincoln City.
Tickets for this year’s game will be sold directly by Pinatar Arena – we will inform supporters once they have been made available online.
We will also be hosting another fan event at the Pinatar Arena on Wednesday 17th July, giving supporters the opportunity to meet and interact with players and staff from the club.
The evening will be hosted by Club President Steve Bellis, and will include an exclusive Q&A session with manager Dave Challinor. Fans will have the chance to grab a drink at the bar, and mix with club staff and players, with the event running from 4pm until approximately 7pm.
