County will travel away to League One Port Vale for our Papa John’s Trophy Group C fixture, with the game set to take place on Tuesday 30th August, in a 7.30pm KO.
The game at Vale Park is a re-run of the 1993 final between these two sides, won by Port Vale, as we compete in the competition for the first time in 11 years.
The other fixtures in our group see us take on Shrewsbury Town and Wolverhampton Wanderers U21s at Edgeley Park, with fixture details for these games to be confirmed in due course.
Ticket prices for the game at Port Vale have been confirmed, with tickets set to go on sale closer to the day of the game.
