Dave Challinor has made seven changes for this afternoon’s Emirates FA Cup First Round tie with Swindon Town, at Edgeley Park – with three players returning from injury to start.
Macauley Southam-Hales, Joe Lewis and Ryan Rydel have all been out for over a month with injury, but come into the side along with Callum Camps, Antoni Sarcevic, Connor Evans and Ollie Crankshaw.
Ben Hinchliffe retains his place in goal behind a back three of Akil Wright, Lewis and Chris Hussey, with Southam-Hales and Rydel the wing-backs.
Camps, Sarcevic and Ryan Croasdale form the midfield three, whilst it looks set to be a front two of Ollie Crankshaw and Connor Evans this afternoon. Ryan Croasdale captains the side today in Paddy Madden’s absence.
