We pride ourselves on developing our players as people, as well as educated footballers. The Football Education opens many doors for those who complete the programme and maintain regular football training and matches throughout the two years.
Alumni of the Football Education have gone on to earn contracts with our partner club Stockport Town, while others have gone onto university to study subjects such as Sports Management, Sports Rehabilitation, Sports Analysis and more. Career paths at the end of the programme are also vast as they include the options of becoming a coach, gym instructor, player care officer and sports rehabilitator among others. We hold regular trials throughout the academic year so that everyone has an equal opportunity.
Can I write in to be invited to an open trial?
Our trials for the Football Education are sporadic throughout the academic year. If you are interested in a trial, please complete the form below. Trials will include a full training session with our Football Education coaches, as well as a gym session with our sports rehabilitators. There will also be further information available regarding the education programme.
