Howzat for a great afternoon out!

HIf you thought the cricket World Cup Final was exciting then you will love the annual county cricket match!

On Sunday 28th July, the current squad at County will take on a team of ex-players at Offerton Cricket Club captained by the one and only Mike Flynn.

Flynny will lead a team comprising of County heroes including Bill Williams, Paul R Williams, Steve Bullock, Paul Jones, Scott Spencer, Michael Clarke and others.

The two teams will play out a twenty over game to raise money for a wonderful local cause – Swanbourne Gardens.

Entry is free, there will be a well-stocked bar, a BBQ, and bouncy castle for the kids.

Gates are open at 12 noon and the match starts at 1pm (weather permitting).

All monies raised will provide much need equipment for Swanbourne, a children’s respite for complex needs and children with life limiting illnesses. Swanbourne also look after children that are at their end of life and give them the normality and life experiences they deserve. They are the only NHS run children’s respite in the North West and we are very proud to care for these special children aged between 0-19 years old.

Swanbourne also give families a much needed break from the constant cares these special children need.

Please come along and cheer on the players while supporting a wonderful cause.
