We’ve got another packed issue of your ‘County’ Matchday Programme as we take on play-off chasing Brackley Town at Edgeley Park (3pm).
There’s an exclusive feature interview with midfielder Sam Walker, who talks about his excellent form this season, FA Cup glory, and whether he likes Facebook or Twitter!
As this will be County’s first home game in November, this afternoon the club will be marking Armistice Day and the end of the Great War. As part of Stockport County’s contribution to this important period of reflection, the club will be unveiling a specially-designed plaque outside the Cheadle End to commemorate the former players of Stockport County who made the ultimate sacrifice and lost their lives in conflict. County Historian Marcus Heap gives a fascinating account of the 13 former Hatters who gave their lives in the First World War.
Also inside your multi award-winning programme includes your regular features The Travelling Fan, Pitch-ure Perfect, My Matchday, County Heaven and the Imagine FM column, penned by Chris Ridgway.
We’ve also got an in-depth profile of our visitors from Brackley and much more. Copies will be on sale from the usual outlets at just £3 each.
