You can now hear pre-match reaction from manager Jim Gannon ahead of Tuesday night’s trip to Wealdstone in the National League, with County looking for a third straight win.
The County boss was pleased with the reaction shown by his side since that opening day defeat at Torquay, with wins over Halifax and Dover putting County in a play-off place early on.
Jim spoke about the need to manage the squad carefully over the next days and weeks in order to combat fatigue, with the possibility of rotation amongst the squad over the next few games.
There was talk of the roles of Alex Reid and John Rooney in Saturday’s win, and special praise for Sam Minihan after the wing-back made his 150th appearance for the Club in that 3-0 win.
Looking ahead to Wealdstone, Jim spoke of the challenge he expects the newly promoted side to provide for his team in their first home game of the season, believing them to be a good footballing side who will make it a competitive game for County.
