County defender Joe Lewis has today joined fellow League Two side AFC Wimbledon on a season-long loan deal.
The 23-year-old has signed a new contract with the club ahead of making the move, extending his stay at Edgeley Park until 2025.
Tipped to have a big future with the club by manager Dave Challinor, the Welshman joined the club from Torquay United last season and made 24 appearances in all competitions last season.
His continued development will now see him spend next season at the Cherry Red Records Stadium, where he will link up with former County defender Ryan Johnson who joined the Dons earlier this week.
