Launch date announced for County Courtyard fan zone

The Club is pleased to reveal the launch for its hotly anticipated fan zone, County Courtyard, which will open on the 17th December before our home game against Gillingham.

Situated outside the Cheadle End at Edgeley Park, the County Courtyard will bring fans together before and after games in a family-friendly environment which adds to the matchday experience.

Offering the best street food and a host of drinks, the menu will be specially crafted to celebrate the best local produce with fan favourites rotating regularly including Greek, Spanish and Indian dishes.

For the opening game of the County Courtyard, a specially curated Christmas menu has been developed for fans to sink their teeth into before and after the game, featuring Christmas favourites such as Yorkshire pudding wraps and Bratwurst hotdogs.

Award-winning local pie company, Ate Days A Week will be bringing its handmade pies, starting off with a special Christmas pie filled with Cumbrian turkey thighs, Olde English sausage, apricot stuffing, sage & onion turkey gravy and topped off with a pig in blanket. For vegetarians, specially created shortcrust pastry pies will be filled with plant-based mince, sage, onion & apricot stuffing, roasted vegetables, and cranberry gravy will be available.

There’s also a fully functioning bar featuring a range of beers including Beavertown, Birra Moretti and Guinness, as well as ciders, wine, soft drinks, and hot drinks. There’ll also be great entertainment and plenty of festive cheer for all to enjoy.

The County Courtyard, has a capacity of 1,500 people and will open 90 minutes before the start of the game Saturday’s 3pm kick-off (1.30pm) and will close at 6.30pm.

It has been developed with Cheshire-based container architects White Crate, which has worked with a variety of local businesses to develop unique shipping container concepts including developments for Liverpool FC, Manchester City and award-winning food destination Hatch.

Club CEO, Jonathan Vaughan, said:
