Akil Wright is set to make his first County appearance in tonight’s Papa John’s Trophy tie with Port Vale, as one of nine changes for Dave Challinor’s side.
Akil starts in a two-man midfield alongside Ryan Croasdale, who makes his 100th appearance for the Club tonight.
Ben Hinchliffe returns in goal behind a four-man defense, with Macauley Southam-Hales back from suspension on the right, Fraser Horsfall partnering Ryan Johnson in the middle and Mark Kitching keeping his place in the team on the left.
Connor Evans and Myles Hippolyte will line up either side of Croasdale and Wright, whilst Kyle Wootton partners Connor Jennings up top.
