Match highlights from today’s behind closed doors victory away at York City are now available, as Nyal Bell’s late goal gave County a fifth straight win on their final visit to Bootham Crescent.
In an electric start to the game County twice came close to taking the lead inside the opening minute, only for Richie Bennett to be denied first by the crossbar, and then by the post.
York grew into the game in what was an entertaining, end to end encounter, with both goalkeepers called into action throughout the game.
Just as it looked like the game would end goalless, however, Nyal Bell stuck out a boot to divert a corner home to give County another win on the road, and continue their fine pre-season form.
