Match Info | County v Gillingham | 05.08.23

Here we go again! The 2023/24 season officially gets underway this weekend, as we start our League Two campaign with a home game against Gillingham.

Please see below for everything you need to know ahead of the opening day – and get your tickets before they go!

Venue: Edgeley Park, Hardcastle Road, Stockport, SK39DD

Kick-off: 3:00pm

Things you need to know:

  • County fans can now park at the NCP Car Park at Stockport Train Station for a discounted price of just £3 on a match day, via the ParkPass App! Click here for more information.
  • Keep an eye on our social media channels this week for more information on what’s on offer in the County Courtyard for this game.
  • The game will be available for our overseas supporters to stream on Stockport County Live. Our yearly and monthly video subscriptions are available to buy online now, or you can buy an individual pass for Saturday’s game for just £10. Supporters based in the UK will be able to access audio commentary for this game, featuring Sam Byrne and Liam Richardson – click here to head over to Stockport County Live!
  • We want to encourage our supporters to attend games, especially our younger supporters, but we want them to be safe when watching our club. As a result, all under 14s must be accompanied by an adult (over 18), and they must be sat together in the ground. If a child under 14 attends without an adult, they will not be allowed entry and their parents/carers will be called to collect them.

Admission:

Tickets are available to purchase online NOW, and will also be available to buy from the ticket office and Club shop during our regular opening times. Please note that all tickets must bought online or at the ticket office – you will not be able to purchase a ticket at the turnstiles.

With crowds selling out on a regular basis in 2023, we advise purchasing online in advance where possible. To book your place in the home end today, click below and follow the instructions provided.

Notes:

  • Students must be in full time education – valid ID must be provided.
  • Disabled fans – proof of disability that may be required from supporters wishing to sit in any of the accessible areas, can be any of the following: i) A statement of high mobility/living allowance as issued by the Department of Work & Pensions; or ii) Receipt of either the Severe Disablement Allowance or Attendance Allowance; or iii) Blind or partially sighted registration certificate; or iv) Enhanced Personal Independence Payment (PIP).
