County’s first game of the New Year sees us travel to fellow ex-Football League and play-off chasing side FC Halifax for the second game of our festive double header against the Shaymen.
Location: The Shay, Shaw Hill, Halifax HX1 2YS.
Kick-Off: 3:00pm.
Admission:
Along with 850 seats in the Main East Stand, there will be a covered terrace for approximately 1000 standing supporters in the North Stand. All Stockport County Supporters are to enter the ground via the East Stand (Turnstiles 14, 15, 16 & 17). Once inside, supporters may choose whether to sit or stand. Please note, Turnstile 14 is for Adults Only.
Tickets will be sold at the turnstiles on the day of the game. Halifax advise having the correct amount of cash in order to ensure speedy entry.
Halifax Town have extremely limited credit/debit card facilities and are asking supporters pay by cash. As such, having the correct amounts will enable for quicker entry into the ground.

Standing supporters may leave the ground after the game via the Skircoat Stand gates, allowing access to the car park with Stockport County Supporters’ Coaches via the walkway at the rear of the stand. Stewards will be on hand to assist.
Disabled Supporters:
Disabled supporters pay as per the relevant category above. A carer, if required, is admitted free of charge.
Parking
There is a multi-storey car park on Hungar Hill (adjacent to the ground) which will be open from 1:30pm until 7:00pm. This is available to both Stockport County and Halifax Town supporters, at a charge of £5.00 per car.
