Match officials confirmed for cup clash

Referee Aaron Jackson has been selected to take charge of Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup First Round clash between County and Worksop Town at Edgeley Park.

It will be Jackson’s first time refereeing County in over two years, last doing so during our National League title-winning season in 2021/22, overseeing our 2-1 win over Wrexham at Edgeley Park.

The official took charge of 20 first-team fixtures over the course of last season, the majority in the National League, during which time he issued 54 yellow cards, four red cards and awarded seven penalties.

So far this campaign he has overseen nine first-team fixtures across the National League and EFL Trophy, showing 32 yellows, six reds and giving four penalties. His last came came in the National League last Saturday, as he took charge of Oldham Athletic’s 2-2 draw with Altrincham.

The Assistant Referees at Edgeley Park will be Daniel Woodward and Paul Newhouse, whilst Richard Eley will be the Fourth Official.
