Match Officials Confirmed | Salford City (A)

Referee Ollie Yates has been selected to take charge of Thursday night’s League Two fixture between Salford City and County at the Peninsula Stadium, live on Sky Sports.

It will be the eighth occasion that Yates has officiated a game involving County since first doing so in 2014. He has refereed us twice already this season, including for the reverse fixture between these two sides at Edgeley Park in November, as well as for our 3-2 defeat away at Mansfield in August.

The official took charge of 35 games in all competitions last season, during which time he issued 138 yellow cards, one red card and pointed to the penalty spot twice.

So far this season he has overseen 31 games across all competitions, showing 139 yellows, six reds and awarding ten penalties in that time. His last game in League One on March 2nd, refereeing Bolton Wanderers’ 2-0 win over Cambridge United.

The Assistant Referees on Thursday will be Johnathon Bickerdike and Paul Newhouse, whilst Simon Mather is on Fourth Official duties.
