The match officials for our Easter Monday fixture against Huddersfield Town at Edgeley Park have been confirmed, with Alex Chilowicz set to referee the game.
Monday will be the fourth time the official has overseen a game involving County, having also refereed our games away at Tranmere Rovers and Notts County in League Two last season, as well as our 2-1 defeat at Stevenage back in December.
It will be the third time this season that he has refereed opponents, Huddersfield Town, having also taken officiated their 4-0 win at Bolton Wanderers in September and a 0-0 draw at home to Rotherham United in January.
Chilowicz took charge of 20 first-team fixtures over the course of the 2023/24 season, ranging from the Championship down to League Two, during which time he issued a total of 66 yellow cards, one red card and awarded three penalty kicks.
In the 32 games the American has refereed so far this season, covering League One, League Two and the National League, he has shown 98 yellows, seven reds and awarded eight penalties to date. His most recent fixture came in League Two on April 11th, when he oversaw Salford City’s 3-1 win away at Notts County.
The Assistant Referees at Edgeley Park on Monday will be Grant Taylor and Lewis Raper, whilst Michael Crusham will be on Fourth Official duties.
