Today’s League Two fixture against Notts County has been called off due to a frozen pitch at Meadow Lane.
Temperatures this week have left the pitch heavily frozen with , with a league-appointed official carrying out a pitch inspection this morning and deeming the surface unplayable. The referee had little confidence that today’s temperatures would improve conditions sufficiently for the match to safely go ahead.
The game will now be rearranged for later in the season, with details to be confirmed at a later date. Any tickets purchased for the game will still be valid for the rearranged fixture.
County are next in action away at Doncaster Rovers on Saturday 27th January – we are currently in contact with the home side regarding an additional allocation after selling out the initial 1500.
