Defender Jid Okeke has joined South Shields FC on a youth loan deal, where he will spend the first six months of the 2024/25 season in the National League North.
The 19-year-old, who made his full debut on Tuesday night at home to Blackburn Rovers in the Carabao Cup, experienced two loan moves last season, first at Chester before another short loan at Hereford making fourteen appearances across both clubs.
Jid will join fellow academy graduate Ashton Mee, who signed a season-long loan with the Mariners in July.
