This June, join us at Edgeley Park for a very special celebrity charity match. Celebrities from all over the UK, plus some County legends, are coming together to get involved in a competitive game of football in aid of Stockport County Community Trust, Beechwood Cancer Care and Unicef.
Sellebrity soccer is one of the biggest celebrity charity match organisers in the UK and have raised over £1.3million for various charities and worthy causes over the years. On the day, expect to watch a highly competitive game on the home turf of Stockport County’s first team, celebrities such as Callum Best, James Argent and Jake Wood, as well as the likes of County legend ‘Bully’ Paul Turnbull will be making an appearance. Food kiosks will also be open around the stadium, offering hot food such as homemade pies and burgers, as well as a selection of cold and hot drinks.
The match will take place on Saturday 4th June at 3pm, with gates opening at 2pm. Adult tickets are £14 whilst under 18s are £7. A proportion of sales go to the County Community Trust who offer a range of programmes that encourage learning and promote healthy lifestyles within the local community. As well as to Beechwood Cancer Care, who offer free support to those living with a life-limiting illness, their centre offers one-to-one counselling sessions, complementary therapies and group sessions with other clients/carers.
