We are delighted to confirm that the one and only Shefki Kuqi will be joining us on hospitality at Edgeley Park this Tuesday, as a special guest for our National League game against Maidenhead United.
Shefki will be returning to Edgeley Park as a guest for the first time since leaving the Club 20 years ago, and will be taking part in a special Q&A with Club President Steve Bellis before the game for those on hospitality, in our newly refurbished 1883 lounge.
The former Finland international spent a year at County from 2001-2002 after joining from Finnish side FC Jokerit, quickly becoming a fan favourite at the club as six goals in his first 18 appearances helped the club stay up in the First Division.
He would go on to represent several other English clubs in his career after leaving County, including spells in the Premier League with Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United, and scored 8 goals in 62 appearances for his country.
Hospitality for this game will also include a bar, live entertainment, a two course buffet and the chance to hear from Shefki – all for just £45 per person!
