The following is a message from Marketing Stockport.
As many of you are aware, Stockport Council along with its private sector business partners, are working hard to support our business community during the Covid-19 crisis.
The Government is encouraging businesses to reopen but many adjustments will need to be made to ensure the safety of their workforce which can seem daunting for many business owners.
To help navigate through the complexities, the Stockport Business Recovery Board is here to help with a free webinar on Thursday 21st May from 2pm – 3pm.
Our panel of 3 includes:
- Michelle Hay – owner of Michelle Hay Health & Safety
- Carl Hampson – General manager of Allied Bakeries. The Bredbury based plant has amended their working practices and processes to meet new workplace guidelines
- Donald Moore – managing director of employee owned Rowlinson Knitwear who are making adjustments and preparing to reopen.
Each of the panel will share their own experiences and offer advice and guidance; we will invite questions during the webinar but, as time is limited to one hour, please feel free to submit your questions ahead of the webinar. Please submit questions to [email protected]

SAS Daniels have created a short video to outline to employers key aspects and considerations which should be taken into account before asking employees to return to the workplace.
