Callum Camps - Midfielder

FIRST TEAM PLAYER

Player Profile

Stockport-born midfielder Camps moved to Edgeley Park in July 2020, signing a three-year deal at the Club shortly after leaving Fleetwood. The 26-year-old had spent the last eight seasons playing in League One for Fleetwood and Rochdale, racking up over 250 appearances in the third-tier.

Callum initially came through the academy ranks at Rochdale, making his senior debut for the side at just 17 in April 2013 and being named as the Club’s Young Player of the Year in 2014. He went on to make 240 appearances for the Club in all competitions over an eight-year spell, 199 of them coming in League One, and scored 30 goals in that time.

In the Summer of 2020 Callum left Rochdale to join Joey Barton’s Fleetwood on a free transfer, playing and scoring against County at Carrington in a pre-season friendly that same year. In his first season at Highbury he made 48 appearances in all competitions, scoring 11 goals as the Cod Army finished 15th in League One. He made his debut for the Club on the opening day of the 2022/23 season against Barrow, before scoring his first goal in County colours a week later against Stevenage.

Callum’s home sponsor is James Moore, and his away sponsor is Ian Lord. Callum’s Stockport County Appearance Number (SCAN) is: 1431
