Creative midfielder Elliot Osborne signed permanently for County in November following his second successful loan spell at Edgeley Park. Elliot first joined County in January 2017, as a 20-year old on loan from Fleetwood Town, where he scored one goal in six appearances before returning to his parent club.
Elliot initially began his career as a youngster at Port Vale, spending nine years at Vale Park before spells at Newcastle Town and Nantwich Town, where he scored 22 goals from midfield in 2015/16, earning him a move to Fleetwood.
In January 2018, the talented midfielder signed for Southport on an 18-month deal. Manager Jim Gannon remained a fan, however, and Elliot re-joined County on loan in September, making eight appearances and scoring one goal before the club moved to sign him permanently on a two year deal.
