On Sunday 11th September, a number of employees of Stockport County and County Community Trust will be taking part in the Tough Mudder Challenge.
We will be raising funds to help support the County Community Trust’s Health and Well-being programme. The Health and Well-being programme is vast, supporting children, young people, adults, and senior citizens as well as those with a range of physical and learning disabilities, mental illness, dementia and complex needs.
We want to reach out to vulnerable people who may be living in loneliness and social isolation by providing opportunities, making a positive difference, improving their health, mental wellbeing, confidence and self-esteem. By providing valuable community support and outreach across Stockport, Greater Manchester, Tameside, High Peak and Cheshire, we want to offer a range of programmes and activities that promote social inclusion, health and wellbeing and disability and sports participation projects.
A big thank you to Pioneer, who are funding all County staff entry!
If you are able to, please donate to our JustGiving page, where 100% of donations go towards supporting the Stockport County Community Trust’s Social Well-Being programme.
Staff taking part are: Olivia Hanvey, Georgia Keane, Melissa Ellison, Jake Walker, Dave Wardle, Chris Pownall, Matty Bailey and Theo Bielby.
