Stockport County is delighted to announce the renewal of its partnership with Stockport Gin for the 2024-25 season.
This continued collaboration strengthens the Club’s ties with a local business in Stockport Gin, who present the Man of the Match winner with a bottle of their award-winning gin at every home game.
The Club are proud to partner with a local business that shares our commitment to excellence. By supporting Stockport Gin, we are not only recognising their quality products, but also contributing to the growth and success of our community.
Background on Stockport Gin:
Stockport Gin was launched in March 2019 by husband-and-wife Paul and Cheryl Sharrocks. Paul and Cheryl are both born and bred in Stockport and big County fans – the couple even met watching County away at Torquay in 2006.
The award-winning gin is made with eight botanicals, including locally foraged pine needles from Etherow Country Park, at their distillery in the heart of Stockport Town Centre. Paul and Cheryl are both involved in all processes, including hand selecting the botanicals, distilling, bottling, labelling and selling the gin.
Stockport Gin is stocked in numerous locations, including pubs, bars, restaurants and shops in Stockport and beyond, as well as right here at Edgeley Park.
Paul and Cheryl also create our very own County Gin, made exclusively for Stockport County, which is available now in our Club Shop.
Olivia Hanvey, Commercial Director for Stockport County said:
“We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Stockport Gin. Their commitment to quality and their passion for our community aligns perfectly with our own values. The Man of the Match bottles are a lovely gift for our players, and we’re excited to continue this partnership for another season.”
Stockport Gin commented:
“Stockport Gin are proud to partner with Stockport County again this season and reward the Man of the Match with a bottle of our gin. Combining our love of County and gin is a huge privilege for us and we look forward to supporting the club in what promises to be an exciting season!”
