County’s Promotion Parade takes place this Sunday. Here’s some important information ahead of the day.
The team will travel to Edgeley Park on an open-top bus, parading the National League North trophy, as the Blue & White Army line the route.
Following a private reception in the Mayor’s Parlour, the team will board the bus via the Edward Street entrance. The bus will then leave Stockport Town Hall at 3pm, making its way along Greek Street, Mercian Way, and Caroline Street before arriving at the ground.
Please be advised not to gather at the A6 side steps of the town hall as the A6 will remain open.
There will be a rolling road closure along Edward Street, Greek Street and Mercian Way between 3.30pm and 4.30pm for the Stockport County Promotion Parade.
We will then open the Pioneer Group Cheadle End for the fans to join in the celebrations – entry is free of charge. Once again, we’d love for you all to bring your hats, scarves, and flags as we aim for a memorable party atmosphere, ahead of a huge team photograph inside Edgeley Park.
After the photo, the players will remain in the Pioneer Group Cheadle End to mix with the supporters and celebrate their fantastic season.
