Captain Paddy Madden returns to the starting line-up for tonight’s League Two meeting with Crewe Alexandra at the Mornflake Stadium.
Madden, named on the bench for Saturday’s game at AFC Wimbledon, comes in for Myles Hippolyte, whilst Chris Hussey replaces Ryan Rydel in our only other change.
Ben Hinchliffe starts in goal behind a back three of Akil Wright, Neill Byrne and Ryan Johnson – with Johnson making his 50th appearance for the Club tonight. Kyle Knoyle is on the right-hand side with Hussey on the left, either side of Will Collar, Ryan Croasdale, Callum Camps in the middle.
Up top, it’s a return to that same strike partnership of Madden and Kyle Wootton – with both players looking for their first league goals of 2023.
Macauley Southam-Hales, Fraser Horsfall, Antoni Sarcevic, Phil Bardsley and Tanto Olaofe are all injury absentees.
Starting XI: Hinchliffe; Wright; Byrne; Johnson; Knoyle; Camps; Croasdale; Collar; Hussey; Wootton; Madden.
Bench: Jaros; Evans; Stretton; Rydel; Hippolyte; MacDonald; Lewis.
