Stockport County’s hugely-popular official matchday programme has picked up THREE awards for the 2017-18 campaign.
For the second season running, the programme has been judged to be the best in non-league football as well as being crowned the Vanarama National League North winner for the third year in succession in the prestigious annual Soccer Club Swap Shop Programme awards.
And the programme went one better this season – by being awarded the highly-respected Northern Programme Club Vanarama National League North Programme of the Year prize, ahead of second-placed Darlington and third-placed AFC Telford United.
County’s programme has been recognised for its outstanding content and wide variety of features, including its regular in-depth coverage of the club, excellent historical pieces, as well as exclusive interviews with club icons such as Dave Jones and Danny Lloyd.
Editor Keith Chapman, who has edited the County programme for the past four seasons, is understandably delighted at the triple-award:
“I’m thrilled to pick up these prestigious awards on behalf of the club this season. There are some fantastic programmes in the non-league so to have been selected as the best by the Northern Programme Club and Soccer Club Swap Shop is very rewarding.

To win the divisional award for the third season running in the Soccer Club Swap Shop programme awards is extremely pleasing but to win the overall award for the whole of the non-league in successive seasons is a brilliant achievement we can feel proud of.
“A lot of hard work, long hours and dedication goes into producing each issue of the programme, and we’re extremely fortunate to have a talented and professional team of contributors who make the programme such a success, and these awards owe so much to their efforts across the season.
