Two fixtures set to be televised on Sky Sports

Sky Sports and the EFL have confirmed all of their broadcast-selected EFL games up until the end of September, with two of County’s fixtures selected to be televised.

Our second home league game of the campaign, against Bristol Rovers on Saturday 24th August, will now kick off at 12.30pm and will be available to watch live on Sky Sports+. It will be our first meeting against The Gas, who finished 15th in League One last season, since the 2009/10 campaign.

Our game away at Barnsley on Saturday 28th September has also been selected for broadcast and will be shown live on Sky Sports Football, with kick-off for the game at Oakwell now at 7.45pm. The Tykes finished in the League One Play-Off places last season, as we go in search of our first win there since March 2001.

Under the new broadcast deal, every EFL Club will feature on Sky a minimum of three times before the end of September, with all Carabao Cup first round ties also shown live on Sky Sports. In addition, and prior to the start of the 2024/25 season on August 10th, all TV selections will be confirmed for the period up to the FA Cup third round in early January.
