Vitality Railway End open to home fans this Saturday

Following Tuesday night’s win against Crawley Town at Edgeley Park, we’re pleased to announce that the Vitality Railway End will be open to home fans for Saturday’s huge game against promotion rivals Stevenage.

Edgeley Park is buzzing right now, with County sitting just four points off the automatic promotion places following a third consecutive win in midweek, and we need your support this weekend when we take on Steve Evans’ 2nd place side.

Away fans will be located in block five of the Together Stand for this game, meaning the entire Railway End will be available for County fans, should it be required. Tickets in the first two blocks of the stand are currently on sale online and from the Ticket Office.

It will be the first time the Railway End has been made available to home fans since our game against Torquay United at the end of last season, and manager Dave Challinor spoke at the time about what an impact it made having support at both ends of the pitch:

“That’s the first time in here where we’ve had support from the whole ground, which makes a massive difference. Although we were shooting towards the Cheadle End in the second half, if they had turned us round we’d still be shooting towards our own fans, so when you have got your fans at both ends it really can make a difference.”
