Recently members of the County Community Trust team got together to celebrate the partnership with the National Youth & Community Development Association (NYCDA), which has seen us raise over £27,000 so far this year though the NYCDA Weekly Draw.
All proceeds from the partnership go towards supporting the CCT’s Health and Well being programmes. For those County fans that don’t know, the aim of these programmes is to promote improved mental health and well being amongst the local community. A variety of activities take place at Edgeley Park, alongside the group chats, including art therapy and yoga. The unrestricted funds raised through the weekly draw go some way towards helping CCT provide safe environments and engaging sessions for the local community.
Every County supporter who gets involved this way, enables the CCT to maintain and grow projects within the Health and Well-Being Programme. Costs have to be met for things like weekly football training venues/facility hire, tournament costs, new sports equipment and kits, funding staffing/coaching costs and refreshments at the various activities/event. For more information on all things related to CCT please visit County Community Trust – Stockport County
For as little as £1 per week, via a monthly direct debit, County fans can play their part to expand the reach of the County Community Trust. Not only do you get to support the trust, but each week new members have the chance to win £1000s in cash prizes.
