Stockport County have completed the signing of 20-year-old defender Jamie Stott on loan from Oldham Athletic until the end of the season.
The left-sided centre half has enjoyed two previous loan spells at this level with Curzon Ashton, scoring twice for the Nash last season and playing more than 40 games as Curzon reached the second round of the FA Cup.
The highly-rated defender also made four appearances in League One, helping to guide the Latics to safety in the division at the end of the campaign.
During those four games, Jamie helped his side to keep two clean sheets and won Oldham’s Man of the Match award for his performance in a 1-0 win against Bolton Wanderers on his debut.
Jamie joined Oldham at the age of nine and has progressed right the way through the club’s youth system.
