Stockport County Community Trust

About Us

Stockport County Community Trust was established as a registered charity in 2021 to help deliver the vision of owner Mark Stott. Following his acquisition of the club he outlined his ambition for Stockport County FC to remain at the heart of the town, using football as a force for good and acting as a community anchor for loyal supporters and local residents.

With that core objective in mind, The Trust now delivers a wide variety of projects that addresses the needs and inequalities existing within the borough. By harnessing the power of football, and by collaborating with key stakeholders, the Trust helps make a positive difference across Stockport by increasing physical activity, improving wellbeing, increasing educational attainment and building stronger communities.

Kits by County

Developed by Stockport County, Kits By County provides free PE kits to children at primary schools across Stockport whose families are struggling due to the cost of living crisis.

As the programme enters its third year in September 2026, Kits by County aims to distribute more than 5,000 free PE kits to primary school children across Stockport.
