We have been drawn to face Championship side Sheffield Wednesday in the First Round of the Carabao Cup.
The tie is set to be played at Hillsborough, on the week commencing 7th August – in between our first two league fixtures, at home to Gillingham and away at Walsall.
County reached the second round of the competition last season, taking Premier League Leicester City all the way to penalties before bowing out.
