In December 2022, Stockport County was talk of the terraces after going viral on social media for its Christmas winter warmer, the Christmas Dinner in a Cup. And now, the fan favourite is back to celebrate the 1st birthday of the County Courtyard at Edgeley Park.
Dripping in gravy, this tasty match day must-have has been created to deliver some festive magic on and off the pitch. Packed to the brim with all the festive trimmings you’d expect to see on Christmas day including roast turkey, pigs in blanket, mash potato, gravy, stuffing, and a Brussel sprout.
Priced at £4.50 – County fans will be able to pick up a Christmas dinner in a cup at the County Courtyard before the game and at half-time on Friday 22 December when County face Notts County.
As well as the Christmas Dinner in a Cup, the County faithful will be in for an extra treat at the Sutton United game on the 16 December. Loaded Roasties are on the menu with gravy and cheese sauce, cranberry sauce, turkey, bacon bits and stuffing.
The County Courtyard fan zone will be open on Saturday 16 at 1:30 and Friday 22 December at 18:15 and will serve up a host of other festive favourites before and after the match including pulled turkey Christmas ciabatta, mulled wine and boozy coffee.
