Stockport County can provide the following update regarding ticket sales for our final home game of the season against Accrington Stanley.
Following a comprehensive review of the ticketing system over the last few days, it has unfortunately become clear that a serious error has affected several people’s orders for this game.
Sales have temporarily been suspended whilst this investigation took place, in order for us to identify the supporters who have been affected.
In order to address this issue, every supporter who has already purchased a ticket (not including season ticket holders) will, over the next few days, be issued with a new e-ticket for this game. In some cases, this could be a new seat in and around the area that you have previously purchased. For any seat moves, we will aim to provide you with the best available seat, however if you are unhappy with your new view, please contact the Ticket Office and we will provide you with a full refund.
Please ensure when coming to the game that you use this new ticket to gain access to the ground, as the original orders will now be cancelled.
We appreciate the frustration and inconvenience caused by this issue and the subsequent process. This is being done to ensure that everyone who has purchased a ticket is unaffected and able to attend the game, so we ask for your patience with our Ticket Office staff whilst they work through all of the orders.
Once every supporter who has already purchased has been issued with a new ticket, we will then go back on sale with the remaining tickets elsewhere in the ground.
We apologise again for the inconvenience caused by this, and would like to assure supporters that we are taking steps to ensure an issue like this does not happen again.
