The Club can confirm that a supporter who entered the pitch during Saturday’s game against Leyton Orient has been issued with a three-season ban from Edgeley Park.
Entering the pitch is a criminal offence, and is not tolerated at Edgeley Park. Repeated incidents can also lead to the Club being fined or having points deducted further down the line. Abusive and threatening behaviour to our staff will also not be tolerated.
The fan in question has also been arrested and is currently awaiting a court date to receive a football banning order.
We appreciate that most supporters behave impeccably on a match day and we thank you for your continued support of the team, in the right way.
