County’s in-form strike duo, Tanto Olaofe and Louie Barry have both been nominated for the PFA League Two Fans’ Player of the Month for September!
It’s been a brilliant month for the front pair, who have led from the front in our charge up the league table in recent weeks. Aston Villa loanee Barry scored in each of our five games across September as part of his record-breaking seven-game streak, as well as providing three assists.
His strike partner Tanto has also really hit his stride recently – he too scored five goals in September, including an unforgettable hat-trick in our 5-0 win over Wrexham at Edgeley Park. The pair have formed a formidable partnership that has had defenders running scared, and helped us end the month unbeaten with four wins and a draw.
