Stockport County is pleased to announce the launch of its new WhatsApp Channel, the only place to have breaking news, player messages and exclusive content sent directly to your phone.
This one-way broadcasting platform allows us to deliver texts, photos, videos and polls directly to you, bringing you closer to the first-team than ever before and keeping you bang up to date with all the latest news from Edgeley Park and beyond.
Content is delivered to you in a safe and secure manner, as the personal information of both admins and followers is protected and who you choose to follow is also private. Unlike personal chats, you cannot respond to messages directly either, but you can react with emojis to let us know which content you want to see more of.
The launch of our new channel coincides with the first-team’s trip to Pinatar this week, with live and exclusive content from Spain to be provided throughout the next few days!
How to sign up…
Firstly, make sure you have the latest version of Whatsapp downloaded to your device. WhatsApp users will see a tab called ‘Updates’, between ‘Chats’ and ‘Communities’.
