Stockport County is proud to be supporting men’s Mental Health charity Mentell during our New Year’s Day fixture against Mansfield Town at Edgeley Park.
The fixture will be dedicated to raising awareness for the charity, with the players wearing Mentell t-shirts during the warmups, posters visible throughout the stadium and a powerful message played on the scoreboard at half-time. There will also be a bucket collection taking place at the game, giving you the chance to contribute to this important cause, whilst cards will also be handed out before the game and again at half-time and full-time.
Mentell are a National Men’s mental health charity that supports men over 18. The charity offers men a free confidential space, face-to-face or via Zoom, to talk about their worries and problems, without judgement or commitment. The nearest local circle takes place at Stockport County every Monday (excluding bank holidays), from 7-9 pm in the 1883 suite.
By donating to the charity or by simply taking a card, you are helping to raise awareness of Mentell, supporting the men of our community.
Thank you in advance for any donations you are able to make.
