Stockport County is proud to be supporting the charity, Space4Autism with a bucket collection ahead of this weekend’s game against Harrogate Town at Edgeley Park.
Please see below for a message from the charity:
Space4Autism are an independent charity providing a range of clubs, activities and services for autistic children, young people and adults and their families. The charity began in 2005 when parents of autistic children got together to do something about the lack of support and services for families. Over the years the charity has grown and now has over 7000+ members.
Our services include support groups, social clubs, 1:1 advice and support, activities, events, information, and advice – we have a sensory community café, a centre in Macclesfield with a sensory garden and a sensory suite. The café is open to the general public, so please visit our website to find out more about our services and to join as a member – this is completely free from charge. Click here to find out more.
We are so grateful to Stockport County for allowing us to raise awareness of our charity, and thankful to any supporter who may want to make a donation to help us to continue to deliver and develop our services, to help support neurodivergent people in the area.
Thank you in advance for any donations you are able to make. Your support will make a real difference to this important cause.
