It has been a fantastic season for the Club as a whole. Congratulations to all the first team players and staff who have worked relentlessly all season in their quest to get promoted to the football league. It was great to see so many of our academy players and parents at the final home game of the season.
Hopefully you have had the chance to read the previous monthly newsletters and keep up to date with our social media posts throughout the season. Ryan Jones has done a fantastic job keeping everyone informed. I am sure you will agree the players in our Academy U9 to U19 teams have achieved so much and had many amazing experiences along the way.
With the Club being promoted we will continue to evolve and develop our provision so that players can continue to excel. This will enable us to carry out our vision of ‘a launchpad for new lives in football’. We are currently awaiting a decision from the audit company regarding our category 3 status. All being well we intend to run the following programmes next season;
Category 3 Academy U9 to U19, Stockport County Football Education (SCFE) 16 to 18 years and SCFE U19 Elite Development Squad (EDS). More details on these programmes will be shared during parent and player induction evenings before pre-season commences.
Finally, I would like to thank all our parents, players, and staff for all their efforts this season. I hope you enjoy our last monthly newsletter edition for the 2021-22 season and are looking forward to what the next season will bring.
