Dates have now been confirmed for our EFL Trophy Group Stage games against Bolton Wanderers and Salford City.
As confirmed last month, we will open our group-stage campaign against Manchester United U21s at Edgeley Park, on Tuesday 22nd August, 7.30pm KO.
We then travel to Salford on Tuesday 10th October, 7.30pm KO, before completing our group campaign at home to current holders of the competition, Bolton, on Tuesday 14th November, 7.30pm KO.
The top two teams from each group will progress through to the knockout stage of the competition – in the event of a draw in any of the group-stage games, a penalty shootout will take place, with the winner gaining an additional point.
