The Football Education have launched an Officiating course offering those aged 16-18 the opportunity to explore the refereeing profession, as part of the current Sports Career Pathway programme.
This new course allows potential students to study towards a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport, the equivalent of three A-Levels, while gaining the necessary experience to kickstart their career as an official.
Based at Stockport Sports Village, the entire education programme will be on-site, learning from our expert tutors, while gaining experience from our wide range of staff.
Students who are selected will work with industry experts to enter the Referee Promotion Pathway. Receiving regular individual development sessions, the programme will offer the opportunity to gain match experience from our Junior Academy, all the way into mens football. This will allow students to gain vital officiating knowledge, from as young as U7 games, all the way up to senior football.
