Football Education | Player of the Term: Ewan Farrell

Second-year student Ewan Farrell has won our Football Education Player of the Term award, after being nominated by our coaching staff.

Ewan has produced a number of excellent performances since the season began in September and his hard work on and off the pitch has been recognised.

Speaking of the award, we caught up with Ewan to gather his thoughts:

How does it feel to win player of the term?

It feels good, I don’t really know what to say. It feels good to be recognised for my hard work, and to be put forward for the prize in the first place.

How can you improve on this for 2024?

I’m just going to do the same again, really. I’ll just try to do better than I did this time and hopefully get nominated for the prize again.

What was your favourite moment of the term?

My favourite moment was probably when we played the Robbie Fowler Academy, I think we won 5-1. They didn’t really get near us and we played really well, so I would say that’s my favourite moment.

What have your coaches done to help win this award?

Tony Coyne is my coach and he has been great. He always gives me the full 90 minutes and always sets us up to win games.
