We’re changing the name of our Football Education Sports Traineeship programme to Sports Career Pathway. The new name better reflects the aims of the course, as we look to set students up to gain vital experience in an industry that they are passionate about.
The course will run as planned, as we are offering the same four pathways: Sports Coaching, Sports Analysis, Strength and Conditioning and Sports Rehab. Each unique pathway is worth a Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport, the equivalent of three A-Levels, and gives the students valuable experience.
The Sport Careers Pathway offers the opportunity to shadow our elite staff at Stockport Sports Village, whether it’s a session with our UEFA Licensed Coaches, our Rehabilitation staff, the Strength and Conditioning team or with our Lead Analyst, all with comprehensive experience in their respective fields.
