Football Education Stand Set Up for Colchester

We will be hosting a Football Education pop-up stand in the County Courtyard tomorrow, where supporters will be able to find out more about all our Football Education programmes, including our brand new Girls Player Pathway.

You’ll have the opportunity to speak with Head of Football Education Michael Raynes and Lead Teacher Saxon Wraith, where interested fans will be able to learn more about each of the programmes and given the opportunity to sign up for one of our upcoming taster sessions.

Our courses, including the Player Pathway and Sports Career Pathway will allow anybody aged 16-19 to gain vital experience in the football and sports industry, whether students wish to pursue a career on or off the pitch, while studying towards a Level 3 BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport Coaching and Development.

Head of Football for our Football Education Michael Raynes said: “It’s vitally important for us to become more visible as we continue to grow, and creating a stand at Edgeley Park is an important part of our recruitment process.

“With the introduction of our Girls Player Pathway next year, and the launch of our Sports Career Pathway this year, we can now facilitate any young person with a passion for the game, whether that’s on or off the pitch.”

Make sure to come and find us in the Courtyard tomorrow!
