First-year students Karol Czerwinski and Lucy Reynolds were awarded our Football Education Student of the Term for the Player Pathway and Sports Career Pathway courses.
Player Pathway
Karol was awarded Student of the Term for our Player Pathway course by our education staff, after showing a fantastic attitude in the classroom.
After winning the award, Karol offered his thoughts:
How does it feel to win student of the term?
It feels great. I feel like I’ve worked really hard since September so it’s nice to see that I’ve won the award.
It’s your first year at our Football Education, how have you enjoyed it so far?
The coursework is great and we play football everyday which is really ideal. The balance between education and playing is perfect so I’m enjoying it.
What have your tutors done to help you get student of the term?
Liam Tongue and Saxon Wraith are my tutors, and if I ask for help they’re always there. I don’t think I could’ve got distinctions in all my assignments without their help, so they’ve been very good.
What is in store for 2024?
I hope my side can win the league when we come back next year, football-wise. Education-wise, I want to continue getting distinctions in all my assignments.
Sports Career Pathway
Sports Rehab student Lucy Reynolds has won the Student of the Term award for our Sports Career Pathway, after achieving the highest possible grades.
Lucy shared her thoughts, after winning the award:
How does it feel to win Student of the Term?
It feels good, it makes me feel proud that all the hard work that I’ve put in was worth it. I’m also really grateful because it’s helped me realise that I am on track to complete this course with the best results.
How are you finding life at County?
I find life at County very calm. There isn’t too much stress when it comes to completing the assignments and even when you’re getting closer to the deadline, there’s a bit of pressure to make sure that we get the assignment done on time.
How much have the staff helped this term?
The staff have helped me out a lot for the first part of this year. Their feedback on assignments and during the classes helped me to achieve distinctions in everything so far and I am really grateful to them for helping me out.
