Three County players have been selected for the Vanarama National League North Team of the Season for 2018/19.
The three are keeper Ben Hinchliffe, centre-half Ash Palmer and top scorer Matty Warburton.
Ben kept 22 clean sheets last season and was one of the club’s most consistent performers during our title-winning campaign.
Ash Palmer arrived from Guiseley last summer after a campaign which ended in relegation from the National League, but a year later he has returned to the top flight of non-league football with the Hatters. Ash made 53 appearances for County last season and scored five goals.
Matty scored 27 goals as County claimed their first Championship in 52 years. His haul included three hat tricks, making him the first player to achieve that feat since the great Jack Connor more than 60 years ago.
He was also named County’s Player of the Year.
